FAQs

  • Short answer: They are time-consuming.

Each set is designed personally for your special event. After you fill out your form, I spend about an hour creating a digital sketch for your special occasion. Cookies then need to be mixed, rolled + cut, baked, and cooled before decorating. After they are decorated, they are then packaged in heat-sealed bags.

Decorated cookies can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 15 minutes per cookie. This is why pricing varies.

  • All cookies are packaged in heat-sealed bags to preserve freshness. While ideal freshness is 2 weeks, we have tested decorated cookies up to 6 weeks that still taste fresh.

Drop cookies are best within a couple of days.

  • Yes! We recommend placing them in an air-tight container as packaged. Take the cookies out of the freezer 24 hours before you would like to eat them. This gives the cookies plenty of time to defrost and not ruin the icing. Please do not open the container until after 24 hours as condensation can ruin the design of the cookie.

  • We are a home bakery and we use common allergens in our kitchen. In addition, some of our drop cookies do contain nuts. We do everything we can do to prevent cross contamination. However, we do not consider ourselves 100% allergen free for this reason. As I am a home baker, I will not risk the possibility of cross contamination that could cause any harm. Thank you for understanding.

  • At this time we do not offer vegan or gluten-free options. Our kitchen is not gluten-free so we do not want to risk cross-contamination.

  • Roll-out cookies are rolled to a desired thickness then cut into various shapes. They are then decorated with royal icing.

Drop cookies are cookies that are formed into a ball before baking or dropped from a spoon onto a baking sheet. These are like chocolate chip cookies.
